Meet the Residents

Cndel Harris Cindel Harris, DPM is PGY-2 podiatry resident who specializes in forefoot and rearfoot reconstruction as well as non-operative management of the Foot and Ankle. She was born in St. Louis, Missouri and attending undergraduate in University of Missouri Kansas City, where she published, “Photocatalytic Hydrogen Generation from Pure Water using Silicon Carbide Nanoparticles.” She also received a Bachelor in Arts in Chemistry with a minor in Biology and Spanish.

She continued her academic career and pursued her Doctorate in Podiatric Medicine at Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine (KSUCPM) and was a member of American Academy of Podiatric Practice Management (AAPPM) student chapter. Through her medical studies, she received an award for American Podiatric Medical Students’ Basketball Tournament MVP award for dedication and excellence.

Cindel strives to keep a balanced life outside of her podiatry endeavors with her current hobbies such as drawing, dancing, and yoga. She was accepted at Mount Sinai South Nassau in July 2020 and currently continues to reside to complete her residency.
