CPR Training

Do you know what to do if someone you love suffers a heart attack? The lifesaving techniques of CPR are simple to learn and will prepare you for cardiac emergencies that can happen to anyone, anytime and anywhere.

Mount Sinai South Nassau is an American Heart Association-designated Community Training Center.

Classes are available in:

• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
  
• Renewal courses

These classes are held regularly at the hospital. Call (516) 377-5333 to register for a class.

The following course is offered through Mount Sinai Parenting Center:

• Infant CPR and Safety: This 2.5-hour class covers CPR techniques for infants, focusing on choking episodes, safe sleep positions, infant safety, and products. Discussion of burn care, poison control, and when to call 911.
