The program is designed to fully prepare the resident to for board qualification, and to become proficient with surgical and medical management of foot and ankle trauma, infection and deformity. Along with ample podiatric clinical hours, residents are exposed to a cutting-edge wound care center using the most modern techniques for closing wounds of the foot and ankle. The resident can expect to acquire the knowledge and technical skills necessary to become a proficient in all aspects of podiatric surgery and medicine.
There are many opportunities for academic study, with attending physicians who encourage publication of case reports, posters, and higher tier research.
