A specialist in thoracic surgery and thoracic oncology, Dr. Andaz is especially interested in the early diagnosis of lung cancer through clinical assessment and via CT scan. He completed his surgical fellowship training at the Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh and Glasgow, UK, his thoracic surgery residency at Maimonides Medical Center, and advanced fellowship training at UCLA Medical Center with emphasis in thoracic oncology. At UCLA, Dr. Andaz received extensive training in video-assisted thorascoscopy lobectomies, complicated chest wall resections, advanced surgery of the trachea and esophagus, lung volume reduction surgery and pleurectomy for mesothelioma. Dr. Buhl, who is board certified in OB/GYN and gynecologic oncology, diagnoses and treats cancers of the female reproductive system. She is widely recognized as one of the area’s finest women’s specialists, and a skilled surgeon who utilizes minimally invasive approaches to diagnose and treat early-stage, advanced, or recurrent gynecologic cancers and non-malignant gynecologic conditions.
