Celebrating Mount Sinai South Nassau’s Volunteers
Each spring, Mount Sinai South Nassau Administrators and members of the Board of Directors salute our volunteers for their tireless support and service.
Areas that benefited from Volunteer activities included: Greeters escorting patient/family members, Admitting, Human Resources, Medical Staffing, Nursing Education, Employee Health Services, Wound Care, Community Education and satellite offices. Patient Care Units received significant assistance and patients were comforted by Volunteers, as well as the Pet and Music therapy programs.
Mount Sinai South Nassau Recognizes Volunteer for 10,000 hours of Service
Mount Sinai South Nassau recognizes Elizabeth Wood for devoting more than 10,000 hours of service to assisting the hospital‘s Emergency Department, Patient Care Units, and No One Journeys Alone program. A resident of Oceanside, Ms. Wood has volunteered since April 2006.
