Biography

Dr. Iman Andalib is the Director of Endoscopic Surgery at Mount Sinai South Nassau’s Center for Interventional Endoscopy. He has an appointment as an Assistant Professor in the Division of Gastroenterology at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York.  Dr. Andalib is board certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology and obtained his medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine in Dominica, West Indies. He completed residency training in Internal Medicine at Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, D.C. He completed his Gastroenterology fellowship at SUNY Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY and an Advanced Endoscopy fellowship at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick, New Jersey.  Dr. Andalib performs diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy as well as other minimally invasive endoscopic surgeries. He has published multiple articles on these topics and lectures frequently at national and international meetings.
