Biography
Dr. Charles Sticco graduated from SUNY at Buffalo with a Bachelor of Science in pharmacy and earned his medical degree at the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine of Midwestern University in Downers Grove, Illinois. After completing both his internship and general surgery residency at Nassau University Medical Center in East Meadow, New York, he continued his training in vascular and endovascular surgery at Staten Island University Hospital/North Shore-Long Island Jewish Health System. Dr. Sticco is board certified in general and vascular surgery and is a registered physician in vascular lab interpretation (RPVI).
Prior to joining Mount Sinai South Nassau, Dr. Sticco served as an assistant professor of endovascular surgery at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine/Montefiore Medical Center. He has a special interest in endovascular treatment of aortic aneurysms, peripheral vascular disease and venous disorders. A member of the Society of Vascular Surgery and the American College of Surgeons, Dr. Sticco has been a featured speaker at national conferences discussing a range of endovascular topics.
