Biography
Co-Section Chief of Interventional Radiology, Dr. Abbey-Mensah is board certified in Diagnostic Radiology and Interventional Radiology, with additional specialization in breast imaging. She earned her medical degree from the Alpert Medical School of Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island, and completed her diagnostic radiology residency at the State University of New York Downstate Medical Center, where she served as Chief Resident. She then completed a fellowship in interventional radiology at New York-Presbyterian Weill Cornell Medical Center/Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. After fellowship, Dr. Abbey-Mensah joined Mount Sinai Doctors, where she currently serves as Co-Section Chief of Interventional Radiology and Director of Radiology Education. She has authored numerous peer-reviewed articles and book chapters, and remains committed to advancing the field through education and patient-centered care.
