Biography
Dr. Lastig is board certified in Diagnostic Radiology. He served as the Chair of the Department of Radiology at South Nassau Hospital for 15 years. He earned his undergraduate at Adelphi University and his medical degree from SUNY Downstate Medical Center. He completed a residency in Diagnostic Radiology at Nassau County Medical Center and a fellowship in Body Imaging at University Hospital, Stony Brook. A former president of the Long Island Radiological Society, Dr. Lastig has been on staff at Mount Sinai South Nassau for most of the time since 1996.
