Biography
Dr. Smyrlis is board certified in cardiology, echocardiography, nuclear cardiology and internal medicine and specializesin invasive cardiology. He was fellowship-trained in interventional cardiology at Winthrop University Hospital (SUNY, Stony Brook, NY) and completed cardiovascular diseasetraining at the Western CT Health Network (Yale School of Medicine). He earned his medical degree from the University of Ioannina Medical School, Greece, where he ranked in the top one percent of his class, and completed an internal medicine residency at the Albert Einstein Medical Center, Philadelphia, PA.
