Biography
Dr. Nkrumah earned his MD and PhD at Albert Einstein College of Medicine. He received a Dean’s Award at Einstein; and the David Everett Chandler Award—among numerous honors—at Yale. He did two years of residency in otolaryngology at the Johns Hopkins Hospital before moving to Emory University Hospital in Atlanta, GA where he completed his neurological surgery residency. He then went on to complete his fellowship in complex and minimally invasive spine surgery at Virginia Mason Medical Center in Seattle, WA.
