Biography

Sunny Goel, MD, FACC, FSCAI, Director, Structural Heart Disease, is an Interventional and Structural Cardiologist with a specialized clinical focus in percutaneous coronary and structural heart disease interventions. He is board certified in Interventional Cardiology, Cardiovascular Disease and Echocardiography. Dr. Goel is Assistant Professor of Medicine at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and Mount Sinai Heart, Zena and Michael A. Wiener Cardiovascular Institute.

He earned his medical degree from Veer Narmad South Gujarat University in India and completed an Internal Medicine residency and a General Cardiology fellowship at Maimonides Medical Center, in Brooklyn, New York. He went on to complete fellowships in both Interventional and Structural Cardiology at the Icahn School of Medicine, where he was actively involved in clinical research.
