Biography
Carlos H. Montoya-Iraheta, MD is board certified in pediatric cardiology. He earned his medical degree from University of San Carlos in Guatemala. Dr. Montoya-Iraheta was a resident at SUNY Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY. He completed his fellowship in pediatric cardiology at the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Columbia University in New York, NY. He is a founding member of both Heart Care International and RIGME, Inc., a non-profit organization made up of pediatricians dedicated to medical education and promoting health for impoverished children.
