Health Care Services in the Long Beach Community

We are investing in the restoration of health care services in the Long Beach community that was decimated in the wake of Superstorm Sandy. Our multiyear plan for the Long Beach and the Oceanside campuses, developed in collaboration with independent health and community research firms, seeks to develop and restore new and sustainable health care programs and practices on the barrier island.

Freestanding Emergency Department at Long Beach

The hospital operates a freestanding, off-campus Emergency Department at 325 E. Bay Drive. Open 24 hours, seven days a week, the Emergency Department at Long Beach is equipped to handle most urgent and emergency medical condition's with physicians board-certified in emergency medicine and certified emergency nurses, along with on-site lab services and the barrier island’s only CT scanner.

Mount Sinai South Nassau - Long Beach, Primary Care

For Long Beach and the barrier island communities, Mount Sinai South Nassau - Long Beach, Primary Care offers comprehensive, quality care for your entire family. Our goal is to get to know our patients and their families personally, so we can provide the best care possible. In fact, our current staff and providers are known to the Long Beach community, as many grew up in and around the area.

Mount Sinai Doctors - Long Beach

A beautiful new Long Beach Medical Arts Pavilion (Mount Sinai Doctors - Long Beach, located at 440 E. Bay Drive, Long Beach, NY 11561) is planned for the site of the former Long Beach Medical Center. Some of those proposed medical services include:
