Biography
Dr. Tarkoff, who is board certified in internal medicine and cardiovascular disease, has been serving the local community for more than 30 years. He obtained his medical degree from Hahnemann Medical University in PA., an affiliate of Drexel University College of Medicine. He completed an internship and residency at SUNY Stony Brook University Hospital and a cardiology fellowship at New York University Medical Center. He is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology, the American College of Physicians and the New York Cardiological Society. He is a member of the Nassau County Heart Association, New York Heart Association and the American Heart Association.
