Radiation Oncology (Oceanside and Valley Stream)Radiation Oncology is delivered by a dedicated team of radiation oncologists, medical physicists, dosimetrists, radiation therapists and clinical radiation nurses. The team uses the most advanced equipment and technology for external beam radiation and Intensity Modulated Radiation Therapy (IMRT) including Siemens Primus and Oncor linear accelerators equipped with multi-leaf collimators; radiographic and CT simulation and image-based 3D treatment planning.
