Application Information

We are looking for highly motivated, intelligent and empathetic people with a strong commitment to Obstetrics and Gynecology. We accept 3 categorical residents each year.

Mount Sinai South Nassau accepts applications through ERAS (Electronic Application Service) only. All applications received will be reviewed and the decision to extend an interview invitation will be based on several factors including a commitment to the field, USMLE Scores (passing scores required), medical school transcript, letters of recommendation and research activities. Unfortunately, we do not sponsor HI or JI visas.

In order to have your application reviewed, we require::

• MyERAS common application
• Personal Statement
  
• CV
  
• USMLE Step 1 or COMLEX scores
  
• Medical School Transcript
  
• 3 Letters of recommendation (at least one from an Ob/Gyn faculty)
  

In accordance with national standards and APGO / CREOG / AMA recommendations to help ensure the health and safety of our applicants, we will be conducting all interviews virtually.

We will begin reviewing applications on September 28, 2022 and our final deadline for applications is October 1, 2022. Interview invites and dates will follow the current recommendations from APGO / CREOG / AMA.
