Mount Sinai South Nassau’s Maternity Services Unit is Nassau’s South Shore maternity destination. Expecting mothers and their families enjoy:'

• 26 all-private rooms
• State-of-the-art Level II Neonatal Intensive Care Unit
• Comfortable and inviting rooms, nursery and family waiting area for parents to spend quality time with their newborns
• Support from a professional team of international board-certified lactation consultants through Mount Sinai South Nassau’s Lactation Resource Center
  

Parent/child education is available, and encouraged both pre-and post-natally. Mount Sinai South Nassau is a Baby-Friendly™ Hospital, one of only three on Long Island.
