Nurses Week at South Nassau

Celebrating National Nurses Week

Nurses Week at South Nassau

Each year, National Nurses Day, also known as National RN Recognition Day, is celebrated on May 6th and opens National Nurses Week. Nurses Week begins each year on May 6th and ends on May 12th, the birth date of Florence Nightingale. During this special week, Nursing Staff at South Nassau are recognized for their dedication and commitment. The American Nurses Association theme for 2012 Nurses: Advocating, Leading, Caring is a sentiment that truly epitomizes the South Nassau Nurse.

Numerous Activities are held throughout the week:

  • Nurses Day Dessert Reception for the Evening Shift
