Biography
Dr. Alan Garely is the Chair of Obstetrics and Gynecology and Division Director of Urogynecology and Pelvic Reconstructive Surgery at Mount Sinai South Nassau. He obtained his medical degree from Saint George’s University School of Medicine and completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at St. Vincent’s Hospital and Medical Center and his fellowship in Urogynecology and Pelvic Reconstructive Surgery at Louisiana State University in New Orleans.
Dr. Garely is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and is one of the first surgeons in the U.S. to be board certified in Female Pelvic and Reconstructive Surgery. He is a professor of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Science at The Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai.
