Carnation Ball

The 2012 Carnation Ball will be held on Saturday, November 3 at the Crest Hollow Country Club, Woodbury, New York. The event will celebrate and honor Mr. Joseph A. Quagliata, President and Chief Executive Officer of South Nassau Communities Hospital, who will be presented with the prestigious Mary Pearson Award. Mr. Quagliata has served the hospital for nearly 40 years and will retire at the end of 2012.

Proceeds from the event will benefit South Nassau's Gertrude & Louis Feil Cancer Center. The Center features a multidisciplinary team of world-class medical, radiation and surgical oncologists. In addition, it is the only program on Long Island equipped with the state-of-the-art cancer technology combination of Varian Novalis Tx™, da Vinci® Si Surgical System and Gamma Knife® Perfexion™.
