Family Medicine Residents Program Year 3

Rupinder Kaur, DO Rupinder Kaur, DO (Chief Resident)
Born in Punjab, India, Dr. Rupinder Kaur, received her medical degree from NYCOM. She is a member of the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians and Emergency Physicians, the American Academy of Osteopathy, and the school's chapter of the Disaster Relief Partnership Group. She received her BA in biology from Queens College. Her interests include cooking, drawing and tennis. Dr. Kaur speaks fluent Punjabi, Hindi and Urdu.
 Felix Rivera, MD Felix Rivera, MD (Chief Resident)
Dr. Rivera completed the Fifth Pathway Program at nearby New York Medical College, Valhalla, after attending the Universidad Autonoma de Guadalajara in Mexico. He went on to complete a preliminary year of internal medicine at the Universidad Central del Caribe, Puerto Rico, before becoming a research fellow at Lincoln Medical and Mental Health Center, New York, from which he has produced several presentations for national conferences and publications. A native of Puerto Rico, Dr. Rivera obtained his BS in general science from the University of Puerto Rico, Rio Piedras. His interests include fine dining, film, chess, electronics and computing. He is a bilingual English-Spanish speaker.
Elizabeth Lynn, MD Elizabeth Lynn, MD (Coordinator of Academics)
Elizabeth Lynn, MD, graduated with honors from Ross University School of Medicine. Born and raised in Los Angeles, California, Dr. Lynn received her BS in neuroscience from the University of California, Los Angles. Prior to medical school, she worked as a 911 EMT with American Medical Response (AMR) and as an ER technician at Whittier Presbyterian Intercommunity Hospital. During this time, she was awarded as the "EMT of the Year." Doctor Lynn’s research at Mount Sinai School of Medicine led her to multiple publications in the Journal of the American College of Surgeons, Journal of Surgical Radiology, and American Surgeon. An advanced amateur photographer, she specializes in color accent and wildlife photography and has her own online photography blog. Doctor Lynn is a national voice for New York Family Medicine residents, as she has been elected as the Alternate Resident Delegate for the state of New York for 2013-2014. More locally, Doctor Lynn has taken the lead in starting a Pet Therapy program at our hospital. She is a bilingual English-Mandarin speaker and speaks conversational Spanish.
Bianca Garcia, MD Bianca Garcia, MD
Dr. Garcia was born in Queens and graduated from one of our affiliated schools, Ross University School of Medicine, Dominica. There she was president of the school's Organization of Latin American Students, a member of Phi Delta Epsilon and the American Medical Association. A local, Dr. Garcia attended Hofstra University, where she combined studies in psychology, biology, and chemistry. She has volunteered at Planned Parenthood, and has done research on Cystic Fibrosis at SUNY Stony Brook. Dr. Garcia's hobbies include reading fiction, musical theater, traveling, and spending time at the beach. She is a bilingual English-Spanish speaker.
Christi Gandham, DO Christi Gandham, DO
Christi Nicholas Gandham, DO, graduated from our affiliate, the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine (NYCOM), Old Westbury, having received a BS from St. John's University, Queens, with majors in biology and physical science. While an undergrad, he tutored chemistry, biophysics, and calculus among other subjects. Dr. Gandham was born and raised in a small, rural village in India where his parents owned and operated a two-room medical clinic which also served as their home. He has extensive paid work and volunteer experience with youth and was the treasurer for two NYCOM professional societies. Well known to us, Dr. Gandham completed two student clerkships at our family medicine center. Having an interest in international missionary medicine, he has worked in a rural hospital in the hills of far west Nepal. In his spare time, he enjoys singing, playing guitar, and painting. He is a bilingual English-Telugu speaker and is conversant in both Spanish and Japanese.
Juliette Kraydman, MD Juliette Kraydman, MD
A graduate of Vitebsk Medical Institute in her native Belarus, Dr. Juliette Kraydman, completed graduate medical studies in obstetrics and gynecology and was a member of the Belarus Society of Obstetricians & Gynecologists. A recipient of her high school's gold medal for highest academic achievement, Dr. Kraydman is interested in photography, music, theater, reading, museums, ballroom dancing and basketball. On top of balancing her resident responsibilities, she is also a mother of three, two of which are twins. She is a native Russian speaker and speaks fluent Georgian.
