South Nassau is pleased to present its 20th Annual "Communities for a Cure" 5K/Run Walk and free Multi-Cultural Health Fair on the grounds of the hospital at One Healthy Way in Oceanside. Proceeds from this event will benefit South Nassau's Breast/GYN Health and Gertrude & Louis Feil Cancer Center. The major sponsors for this event are: Complete Women's Imaging, TD Bank, Bethpage Federal Credit Union, The Bristal Assisted Living and Hospice of New York. The crack of the starter's pistol at 9:00 a.m. sharp kicks off the 5K Run/Walk, with the children's Fun Run starting at 10:00 a.m. The free multi-cultural health fair is open to all. Come learn about all the services South Nassau has to offer and see a live demonstration of the da Vinci Robotic Surgical System. You can even try your hand at the controls! You'll also find free health screenings and valuable information at the fair, including:
